Alecto Carrow is a Death Eater, like her brother Amycus. She is present at the top of the Astronomy Tower when Albus Dumbledore is killed. During World War II, she became a Muggle Studies teacher at Hogwarts, under Severus Snape. This course becomes one more way to instill hatred of Muggles in wizards.

Alecto Carrow's wand mimics a dark wood with a twisted tricolor handle.
